Working with us is your opportunity to make a real difference for some of the world’s most vulnerable people.

Australia for UNHCR is headed up by National Director Naomi Steer, who leads a team of staff who work to raise funds to support UNHCR and keep our donors informed about UNHCR’s work. As well as our central office in Sydney, we have small fundraising teams in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Our frontline staff personally engage with potential donors around Australia.

Face-to-Face and Door-to-Door Fundraisers

Do you want to work with a dedicated team of individuals making life better for refugees around the world? Are you looking to gain experience in fundraising? Australia for UNHCR are looking for people with a friendly personality for a variety of Face-to-Face and/or Door-to-Door fundraiser roles in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Our roles will provide you with a unique opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people. While Australia for UNHCR has a small number of volunteers who regularly assist in the Sydney office, we currently do not have any vacancies for voluntary positions.

If you are interested in volunteer positions within the Sydney office and/or regarding our special events, we will post these opportunities here as they become available.


We don't currently have any internships available at Australia for UNHCR.
